For anyone thats been to either pappy's or the ritz, hows the sound?
Don't know about the Ritz but I'm thinking munching on cactus in the desert with Melvins 50 yards away may take your mind off the importance of the sound quality.

True enough but it's always good to be in the know Sir Jules

Anyone going to this show? I'm pretty sure it's a melvins only show.

I have my ticket already. The view of the band at Pappy and Harriets sucks unless you are in the front two rows of people. The sound is pretty good - never noticed it being bad. The food at Pappy and Harriets is amazing. The desert outside is from another planet.

Melvins just got announced to headline June 4, 2016 at the Temples Festival in Bristol. European tour in the makings or just a one-off date?

Here's an earlier version of Temples' poster that Dead Mike might more approve of:

Jucifer have their own black metal logo?!? Awesome! Walsby needs to work on one for the melvins.

I went to this festival a few years ago when Clutch headlined.

Great set-up and atmosphere, really good day out.

Would strongly recommend going.

Only strange thing is that the festival has been delaying announcing the headliners and kept putting back the date of the announcement. They kept apologising and seemed to suggest that they were being stopped from revealing the headliners for some reason.

Can't see why The Melvins would stop them, not as if they were waiting for their own tour announcement or anything.

Damn!  That would be an awesome fest to go to....

The last time I saw the Melvins with Rutmanis was at this venue for the Pigs of the Roman Empire tour. Small roadhouse style venue - I may have to make the trek...
