There are rumours that Melvins will most probably play the gig of the year, on saturday and that they might also do encores. Who knows? It might happen and it might not,
still I`m psyched to see my 5th concert with the band over all bands, the new album will guaranteed kick buttocks live and I hope they fill in with some old gold in between.
As there are no swedes that I know of on the board, and Galvano will catch the Gothenburg gig some days before, I guess I will be the sole survivor from here, together with
my wife, partner, support person, assistant if you will. I guess also that Mesteren from Denmark will catch the gig in Copenhagen instead. There is a chap, that is not on this board, but who was mad
enough to like me from the Facebook Melvins page, who moved to Germany from the US recently, who might show up, but there will most probably be a one man report
from this gig.

Babel looks like a stellar place to have a gig, an earlier church as you can see:

Malmø is not the city we will endulge too much in, instead we will spend the day in wonderful Copenhagen!

Just so that you can understand more about this region of Copenhagen and Malmø, this is two cities on each side of the Øresund, a gap of sea that is connected with the Øresunds-bridge, a bridge both for cars and speed train. In many ways this is a big city region of its own, with almost 4 million inhabitans, with Copenhagen as the major area. Malmø does not have a big name in Scandinavia, Copenhagen is where it happens, that`s the most metropolitan city you have in Scandinavia, with loads of interesting vintage shops, hidden treasure all around town, Tivoli, Strøget,Nyhavn etc, etc. Malmø is the birth place of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, they have a good football Team Malmø FF and they have a pretty special hotel, The Turning Torso.

But seriously, that`s not enough to keep me in the city for a whole day before the gig. Or is there any Malmøers who can convince me otherwise?

Would you have a spare ticket to the Copenhagen concert? Otherwise I will have to see them in Goteborg :-p

BERZERKER

I only have tickets for Malmø. After what I remember its Copenhagen wednesday, Gothenburg thursday, Oslo friday, beføre Malmø saturday. Still tickets avaliable there atter what I see.

BERZERKER

Now I understand why the ticket sale to this gig has gone so unbeliveable slow compared to Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Oslo, it`s because of Sweden Rock Festival from 8th to 11th of june.

Loads of rubbish at this festival, but definately some gold: (Slayer, King Diamond, Anthrax, Megadeth. I remember that I liked Loudness from Japan back in the eighties )

Just one more comment: Buzz` vocals were better than I have ever heard and he was a god damn guitar wizard, I`m no excpert on guitar playing, but he was really dominant on stage, walking hastily around, almost laying down on stage while playing, I see clearly that both Buzz and Dale gets more present in a three piece than with 2 drummers. The power from Dale
was unbeliveable, must be one of the best drummers out there. Steve wasn`t as dominant as I had expected, but he fits perfectly and he has good vocals.

Hah, I can see myself in the youtube clip  :P Great show! Just as good, if not better, than the one in Gothenburg.
Recorded a pretty decent bootleg of the Malmö show, great taping position on the first platform/balcony of the venue.
