More detailed review to come soon but here's some cliff notes:

- Pretty packed house but a lot of hipsters in said audience. There's no sugar-coating that. Some guy started a pit early on and started antagonizing the shit out of everyone til' he got thrown out.

- First time seeing or hearing Helms Alee at all and they're phenomenal! Great mix of all the good elements of sludge, garage, psych and even hints of lush pop. I dug the hell out of them!

- Steven McDonald absolutely rules and brings an energy of his own to the sets that's just infectious. His manic shrieks and high vocals add an element of terror to some songs!

- Dale's drum mania in bridging parts of Mr. Rip Off.

- The jammed out section during Onions Make The Milk Go Bad leading into The Decay of Lying.

- EUTHANASIA.

- AMAZON!

- HALO OF HOLY GOD DAMNED FLIES!!

Easily one of the better Melvins shows I've seen, would actually take it over last year by a good margin. Can't wait to see them in Indianapolis tomorrow!!
