Can anyone who is in the know come with an assumption or what you call it, for what Melvins will do in 2017? Have there been hints about new tours, that also may include Europe?
I`m pretty sure there will come one or more Melvins releases next year, maybe someone has a notion? Is it ok to have this thread for both assumptions, gut feeling and more or less clear
evidence on stuff coming up in 2017? I don`t know, you know!

A Void Manes collab is likely, anything else is anybody's guess

A woman's work is Trevor Dunn.

Another "big Melvins" album would be nice. Though not likely being Big biz just put out a new album on their own.

Heard they are headlining the Lilith Fair tour

They must have a lot of stuff they've recorded recently. If you think about it the Melvins didn't put out a new album last year and the two albums they put out this year one was recorded in the 90's and the other was essentially a compilation of tracks they had recorded with different bass players in recent years that were left off other things.

I hope they've been going hard recording new stuff over the past couple of years anyway.

Another album with Kevin would be fucking great. What you got?

BERZERKER

Steve is a superb third member, isn`t there a chance of him being a part of some new work? Very often new members bring a new element into the sound, after what I`ve heard Red Kross
and Off are pretty melodic, pretty far from Melvins, will a collab with Steve mean a more melodic, perhaps poppier Melvins?

Yeah, we saw that from Basses Loaded Schanb, the ones he was on were really rock. Although it seems bassists these days only last a year. I think they like doing collabs only at this point, not so much a full album.

What id love though... Freak Puke II / Bootlicker II

Crover - drums
Osborne - guitar
Dunn - double bass
Kevin - Bass

Everything clean except Kevin's bass

I have a feeling this will be out by the end of the year. I remember Buzz saying around the time of Basses Loaded release saying they plan on releasing another album by the end of the year but "he can't even take about that yet."
I got the shits real bad.

Waiting for the Void Manes collab, defo want to see Buzz use that huge modular synth he's been given.

Do I see a Nordic Countries Berzerker Blizzard Tour in my crystal ball?

It's being said that the new collab will be 'shocking' and something nobody, not even hardcore fans would have seen coming, right?

The Void Manes collab has been churning around the rumor mill for what feels like a couple years now, I haven't heard their music but they seem like a natural fit since they've collaborated with Kevin and Patton in the past. So I'm thinking maybe this is something else? Meltvins Banana?
