Jerkin Krokus is the Mott the Hopple song. Not sure if you heard it. Yes, it's a seventies rock song. But it's got full bellied Buzz hollering through distortion. It's got the lyrics " I know what she wants, a judo hold on a black man's bones." It's got Kevin grinding on bass. It's got Dale with some signature fills and skips. It's got a hell of a long pregnant pause before an evil whisper Buzz returns and says "man" in two syllables like "may-un." Then after just over two minutes it goes into a gnarly instrumental breakdown that's only vaguely hinted in the original song I think, pure Melvins.
