I didn't even realise they were missing if Sausages was on the list I would have that in my Top 10 instead of Electroretard. I absolutely love the cover of Bowie's Station to Station with JG Thirlwell.

The poll results are interesting. At the moment most are what i would expect from hardcore Melvins fans. Some of the old classics being popular. I think there are a few surprises here though. I'm surprised Bootlicker hasn't got more votes. I always thought everyone loved that one. Ozma is a bit more popular than i expected. Also whilst The Bride Screamed Murder and The Crybaby are probably never going to be anyone favourite Melvins albums, i'm still surprised they have no votes at all.

5 Legged Dog was a very ambitious project they obviously put a lot of effort into, and I think it turned out great. A really unique "greatest hits" that really made these songs personal and intimate, after all these years.

Like many Melvins albums, it's one i do have a few little niggles with (mainly the inclusion of covers). But i agree with you - it's still something fantastic here. I'm glad it exists and i doubt the band will ever again put out something so vast. As with quite a number of their records, it's a really unique and therefore compelling entity within their discography.

Not that i disagree, but it is amazing to see here in the results how much drop off there is with the other two Big Melvins albums after (A)SA. I've always held up Nude With Boots fairly high in regard but it is still clearly not as good as Senile. I also feel like i've over heard The Kicking Machine at this point too. Probably my least liked song on the record.
