Binkard and Friends

a completely balls out, unihibited, visceral return to the nasty sludge the Melvins made in the late 80's/early 90's

no collaborations, no Adam Jones, no gimmicks. King Buzzo, Dale Crover, and Kevin Rutmanis (or someone else?)

but we need something to give us back the faith in the Melvins as a band completely on their own. perhaps something like Bullhead for the new millenium. heavy, frightening, and 110% Melvins.

NightGoat

They should do whatever comes to mind, untouched, and unique.

So if they decided to release a jazz-album you would listen to it? I know I would....

Like that song 'I Like Porn'? I don't know about you guys, but I think that song kind of sucks. I'd probably still buy the album though....
I think that them playing with Biafra is their idea of giving the fans what they want in a way. I'm sure that they know what their fan base likes to listen to. I thought that the Maggot was about as close as they could come to the heavy shit that they were putting out in the early 90s and late 80s.

anaconda

most fans want a Bullhead to drop next

it could be very good

crazyslap

i totally agree. I love bullhead

zium

i want sludge too. buzzo should get rid of his zakk wyldish standard dirty marshall sound and go back to the sunn beta lead head with the proco rat for some sheer heaviness. i love that sound man

steve

I want anything at all, but WITHOUT collaborators... particularly jello Biafra
...Steve

Binkard and Friends

i think their recent output has been a little bogged down by outside influences (Adam Jones, Lustmord, Jello Biafra, Crybaby album)

hermaphrobaby

what melvins fans need is a hearing aid I think
