firstly remember how I was griping about Cody doing Cow and rolling into A History of Bad Men?  forget I said that.  Cody nailed the living shit out of it.  it WAS the cow outro but with eyes closed you knew it was Cody.  it's amazing how style affects a beat. even if it's note for note.    Holy crap Cody was the star of the show.    Steven..  God bless him.  but I said this to someone else.   (wow.. this sounds pretentious but...) I don't think he gets Night Goat.  I don't think he really feels that song.   it's not a skippy bass line.   brother was happily skip-a-dee-do'ing around the stage on the bass intro.    it made it seem like a happy song.  Night Goat is not happy.

I listended for that because remember it mentioned here and I thought they did a better job of slowing it down and beautifully grinding it out last night.  but I have seen the double time melvins set in the past.  it's a thing.
