Melvins show in Seattle tomorrow?

Anyone going to the all ages Melvins/Jello show in Seattle tomorrow? How about the New Year's bash? Anyone recording? I have not the gear to do so. I'm guessing we'll probably see SDSS and maybe Adam Jones? Maybe the clock will strike midnight at the New Year's show and Kevin will jump out and start humping his bass? Damn this is going to be a good show!

I'll be at the New Years show. Most likely start at Pikes Place Brewery, sit in the Green Room, then be up front for the Melvins.

The show last night was F-ing great, Adam Jones rocked and of course Buzz-o and Dale were in all their pounding and sludgy glory. I'm going back for round 2 tonight, I'd post a picture but I'm not sure how to do it on here. GO MELVINS

That was a good show!  last night rocked hard!  it was Epic!  
From the Get-Go.  the first band was excellent, the Ruby Doe?
the second band was excellent, Skarp?  took me a while to realize that the singer was a Woman!  They Rocked hard.  Missed the 3rd band completely due to social drinking in the Bar.  
  Buzzo was Glorious of course, and my god- that Adam jones is young and just Gorgeous.  what a treat for the Girlz.  and for us.  he was pretty laid back - i like his sound - tasty.  jello?  well..., he's an energetic Front man, his voice isn't unpleasant, and the songs at least kept my attention a little bit lyrically (Who Cares?) it was Buzzo and Dale i was there to see.
Who was the guy playing Bass.  he was having some fun up there.  
 I just hope jello has some "Voice" left for tonight.
 and i hope jello doesn't run into Buzzo when he's careening around up there.  that Bass player was like hiding over there - he didn't want jello running into him.
 Tast show all the way around.  Sure didn't feel like leaving early.
 And yes i'll be back tonight for more.  
 i'm gonna take it "Easy" this time (Maybe?)

  that was fun last night- i was drinking Scotch whiskey on the rocks and i can still taste it, and i smoked a ciggy and i can still taste that too. kinda Yuk!  seeya....

Yes it was David Scott Stone spanking the plank. He was rocking hard, but you're right Popeye, he was hiding from Jello. I thought Jello's mike stand was going to fly through Dale's floor tom a couple times. We had beers at the Cosmo club across the street, I'll check out your place tonight Popeye. My poor friend has never seen the Melvins and he started pounding whiskey hard. He was puking in the parking lot right before the Melvins went on and passed out in the car for the whole show! Stupid bastard.

Wow- the new years eve show was Fucking Glorious.  OMG they were so good last night.  your friend has still never seen the melvins..  Well some of us are Blessed to Actually enjoy that type of shit.  Yikes.
  Those guys were so hot last night (new years eve)  it just makes me laugh now.  It doesn't get any better than last night.  jello is a bit of a distraction, but he has given these guys an excuse to get together and create new music.  I love the style.  And wasn't Adam entertaining last night?  i was right in front of those two.  What a treat.  Adam definitetly playing the role of 2nd guitar, but he had plenty of oppurtunities to shine.  and he did.
  i can't go on and on (oh yes i can)! cuz i'm not familiar with the album.
i guess all the songs were off the latest album (multiple bonus tracks as well) i didn't really recognize any "Old" melvins grinders (that could be my new name - old melvins grinder) so i just assume it was all new stuff.
  Sounded Damn fine to me.  that Twin Axe Attack it's pretty gory, huh?
  i knew they were gonna shred afterf being there the first night.  and Buzzo was just full of it.  it got way out there a few times, Beautifully.
 That Canada band was excellent.  music wise i mean.  as for the dood's "stage antics" well...?, uhhh.  But his band was very good.  i can see why they are popular in Canookistan.
 The Makers/  i love the makers.  they are a great band really.  Got it all going on.  they are a seattle band aren't they.  "we've come a long way to be here with you tonight"  - what -  from lake City - they musta took a wrong turn somewhere.  
 oh well - i'll shut up and see what other people have to say

Holy crap you are RIGHT about them shredding last night, they really turned it on even compared to the night before! It's like they were going as full on as possible. It was like they played at the 20th show in Oly, Buzz was rocking like there was no tomorrow. I really liked the 2 piece that opened, that drummer was outstanding. The Canadians were great too, NARDWAR surfed around on his freakin' keyboard! Buzzo and Dale were laughing their asses off from the wings. SDSS and Adam are great and I have no problem with them joining in with the beloved MELVINS. They are really friendly and all around nice guys too, SDSS was jumping around like his ass was on fire last night. CROVER is too amazing for words and Buzzo and Adam still have my ears ringing.

Ooooohhh - it was special.  i think i know why, more on that later.  But first - Smellis?  SDSS?  is that jello?  No it's the bass player - right?
my question - when u say SDSS you mean the bass player?  David Scott stone?   Lots of question marks here -
 Hey - let's give jello some credit  (a little-0?) he was pretty energetic - at least he still had a voice ( not much of a range!) but let's love it for what it IS! Was -  
 here's my theory - these guys create this music at home in their spare time - get together share it- and get a chance to hone it and record.
 A chance to perform it live is like a Big Bonus for these musicians. the first night was a warm up for new years eve.  who knows - are they on tour?  i don't think so.  
 So that means That was it! so they know that too, and they have some pride ( a lot - alittle?) in this art they've created and they want to share it- show us what it is.  And that's what we got last night, and the night before.  A bunch of Artists cxreating their live Performance Art for us - the audience, and for themselves as well.
 That's why it was so Damn good - because thjose guysa re rightfully proud of what they've created and want it to be seen (Heard!)

Yes, the bass player is Sir David Scott Stone (SDSS). And your right, Jello was energetic as hell and entertaining. SDSS is practically a Melvin by default as he has been playing with them for years. I wish I could go back and see the New Year's show again, what a treat. I feel lucky as hell to have been able to be there. Buzzo and Dale are really on top of their game right now, and they still do whatever the hell they want despite everyone's continuous debate regarding their current projects.

I agree jello was a bit distracting since I was there to see the melvins and adam more than him. Did you guys make it out to see them at the music/toy store on NE 45th at 2 pm on new years day? I didnt Im soooooo pissed. I found out about it at about 3 pm on new years day and I had JUST got back to Bellingham. I FUCKING DROVE RIGHT BY IT!!!!!

Oh yeah..............Im the one that caught jellos shirt on new years eve.
