It is originally an MC5 track.

Brother Wayne Kramer was their guitarist.
He re-recorded it for his album The Hard Stuff with the Melvins.
It's the Melvins' mix on 12 Singles.

Potentially stupid question, but did the Melvins actually play on the track or did they just mix it?

But I seem to remember Buzz is credited with vocals and not guitar.

Lanegan was slated to front the MC5 reunion tour and backed out. I had a chance to see the DC show, but didn't go. If I remember right Mark Arm filled in?
