after one listen to honky I'm blown. after this post i'm going to my bedroom where i will go down on my knees and thank God for the Melvins.

how can anyone be this talented and completely varied in what they do? i have no other words but to say that they are genuis.

they are now officially my favourite band.

i will soon eat, sleep, breathe and sweat Honky. If I talk too much about the superiority and greatness of the Melvins, please delete me from this board.

oh and by the way - Melvins, bearing Honky in mind, makes a band like Pearl Jam look like Christina Aguilera.

lost dogs isn't bad...they were just totally overplayed in the early 90's.

They are for real.  A serious rock-n-roll band.  They kicked out of" the Big one" many years ago.  for better or for worse they don't do videos.
 In fact they do everything they can to avoid "the Big Hype"  
  See them live and you'll understand why they have become the "New Dead"
  Their last studio cd "Riot Act"  was fine with a half dozen hard rocers on it.  But with no videos and no pimping by the label/band they just don'e get the same exposure they once did.
  That's the way they want it!
