Would anyone be able to screen shot the liner notes from the Ipecac reissue? I have GTP on vinyl and also as a bonus on the Ozma CD so I don't feel like buying it a third time.

Does anyone here have the 1991 cassette on Boner Records with the bonus six songs at the end of side two? If so, can you tell me what the sound quality of those six songs is like? Does it sound better than the ones on 26 Songs, which seem to have been sourced from a vinyl copy? I'm wondering what the source is for the six songs on the 1991 cassette. The master tape? I'm dying to know. I think I saw someone here before who posted a photo of the cassette that they owned...

It's sounds a little different, not better. It sounds like a Cassette.

You aren't missing anything magical or anything.

Thanks for answering! How does it sound different? Do you mean it sounds like the source is a cassette? Is it quieter than the 26 songs tracks? Can you hear the sound of vinyl? (I'm thinking of buying the cassette, just for the 6 songs, and recording them, so I can play them on my iPod.) Does the quality of the tracks differ much from Gluey Porch Treatments? I guess I should just buy the cassette, and find out for myself!

It sounds like a pre loudness war cassette with a lower volume threshold compression that's way lower quality than any vinyl anyway. That being said, I don't remember hearing the sound of vinyl...I could Just make a transfer of the tape for you man.

Love the differences on the HAZE re-releases:

I have a Teac V-95RX or a Technics M-45. I'll probly use the Technics since the Teac is auto-reverse and I don't think is calibrated to spec. anymore because I hear some crosstalk on the auto-reverse side, but that's how I got it.

I use Garage band to record analog to digital, but I have Audacity as well... both look kind of the same, I'm more familiar with Garage band so that might be just as good, I'll make an AIF. File transfer if that works for you?

The USB Mixer I have is an "ART" project series Interface.

The File might be a bit large, but give me a couple days I'll see what I can do for you alright?

I transferred the tape. It's a Cr02 Tape so it's got that sound to it, if you play it back in normal position is a bit hissy and there's some print-through on the tape a bit between some tracks, That's just how the tape was when I got it.

I'm 100% certain that the six songs 7" is off the Vinyl though.
