what do you guys think of the gtp garage demos?!
i think they truly show what melvins are.
what about you?

turnacuss

I don't  listen to them, but they aren't relaly that far behind 10 songs quality either.

Leroy

you hear a *cough cough* on one of those demo songs before they start playing

eddie

"Happy Grey or Black" has the best sound quality. It was an Mp3 of the week a while back.

lord of heaviness

Those demos are really cool. They kind of show us a glimpse into the evolution of the songs. Notice the Eye Flys demo is a little different from the album version.
What do you think you're looking at, sugar tits?

pottypoo

yeah, notice how the slow songs are fast and the fast songs are real slow.
i love it.

Kurva

where can i find some info about all melv albums?
with the songs titles, etc

cause i have no idea what gtp garage demos is...

from what year is it?

noctrun

take a look in the discography section of this side or the discography of http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/5752/Melvins/

Pottyhead, you are my man. I love all the garage demos that where recently released on the ipecac reissues. I like it better than the recorded versions for the album. I know I

Dood (guest-pottyhead) that was funny.  But it just goes to show how good the melvins really are.  Buzz is all about Quality Control, and he's had the "knack" since day1.

klump

why that name for the album?
what does it REALLY mean??

Anonymous

its about beating someone (or maybe other rock band). Or getting is ass kicked.

Just look at the lyrics

GLUEY PORCH TREATMENTS:
You!
You learned how to cry
And I don't think your sorry
You need a little smack of reality
And I'm gonna' be
Sick

Now you take the test
I ask you "do you like it?"
I've tasted better boards on a gluey porch
And I laugh

melon

well, thats the clearest ive ever seen it explained...but what the hell is a gluey porch? lol
