By "possibly" he actually means in 5 years you might get it or not.

why do you need it?
i have the album, i could possibly take a picture for you.

A nice scan would be appreciated for the discography. Doubtful a photo could end up looking very good.

Vcavallo

good point.
i've got no scanner...

if i can make it happen somehow i will - it's way easier than transferring the interview - but i don't really know anyone with a scanner.  i'll keep the eyes peeled

Good thoughts.
Either that or a blowjob.

for some reason i always pictured teenage angsty handjobs from the title
dunno why,

my porches in my teenage years were always far to open for that kind of behaviour

word association eh
i say i can't, but i really mean i won't.

I've recently heard that the Ipecac reissues of this album and Ozma both have better sounds than the original recording. I've got the 1989 compilation but was wondering if those Ipecac reissues are actually remastered..or is it just new artwork with the old recordings???

Don't click this

z

im pretty sure they're remastered... though they haven't re-released ozma yet....  the soon-to-be released makin' love demos that comes with brian walsby's new book is mostly comprised of demos that ended up on ozma.....

Lori looks like the bass player of an obscure Japanese cult band from the 70s.

Remastered shit.

Mad Arab

Ozma has not been remastered.

from the very first note/feedback of Eye Flys, I was totally blown away by what I heard. I like some stoner rock, but I had no idea anyone could play that fucking slow. It was after this that I gave up on almost all stoner rock bands as I knew no one could compare to the godliness that is Melvins.
What would a woman that fine want in a big, fat, nasty, greasy, fat, stank, bloated, cheesy-backed, 12-sandwich-eatin' bastard?

Turn around mister, and never trust a girl giving her donuts away for free.

Ok, here we go. I finally have the chance and the funds to move my loving relationship with the melvins to new, physical and legal levels  (hey! I live in Honduras and the noise-rock/sludge scene isn't exactly thriving here...not many melvins albums to buy...not any actually) and to conmemorate this I've decided to start things off with a bang. Problem is, I have a dilemma...read the post header if you can't figure it out. I figure the Ipecac edition probably has better sound, liner notes, nifty packaging, etc. but then again, the Boner twofer is the only way you can currently acquire a new physical copy of 'Ozma', BUT I don't want that edition to become obsolete when the Melvins FINALLY decide to reissue this baby, BUT at the same time this doesn't seem likely since GPT was reissued what, 10 years ago? AARGH this is killing me; help out a poor, leisurely soul. Keep in mind that albums here are might pricey (close to $20. and you can only order CDs) but I LOVE the Melvins THAT much and plan to buy all of their "regular" albums and any other stuff I can get my hands on throughout my life...

Welcome. :D

Yeah, I would have to say go with Boner. Your getting two albums for one plus the
Cars 'Candy-O' cover is on there in between the two albums. The  Ozma reissue could
be years away.

Pancho

Thanks man! The Boner twofer it is...though I still have a question, is the sound quality in the Ipecac reissue that drastically improved or is it a question of it just being pumped up louder? DAMMIT oh well I guess that if they ever do reissue 'Ozma' the Boner package will go out of print, thus becoming a rare, valuable collector's item...right? Right?  :?
