Sound FX TV * 1994 * 20 minutes * The Melvins' 1st network TV apperance

anyone can tell me more about this,and, i never saw guys with videos of Melvins in TV apperances,anyone here have more apperances of Melvins on TV?

only curiosity,im searching this apperances too.

hey beto i've got a VHS version of the melvins tv appearance on arte (german/french tv). there's an excerpt of BB (cameron jamie film with melvins soundtrack), interview, short live excerpts... i think it's maybe 10 minutes long... the problem is i can't transfer vhs to dvd but if you're interested i can send you a copy... or we could trade... :wink:

In 1996, on Much Music Loud, the Melvins were on for the entire 30 minute show.  They were being interviewed about Stag, and they showed some videos including "Bar X" and "Honey Bucket".  There might have been a few others, but i remember Mark D and Buzz were on the show. Dale wasn't. Buzz said something like "we need 50,000 cd's sold to be a hit"  I think.  I forget exactly, but it was interesting from what i remember.  i'm not sure if they let buzz pick any videos (from other bands) or not.


I wish I woulda taped it  :(

The Melvins were on a show on HBO a few years ago; Buzzo was looking for a house with a real estate agent in Beverly Hills.  When he was asked how he was going to pay for the house, he pulled out a lunch box and removed a few magazines with his picture on it, a couple action figures, etc.. and told her 'I'm going to pay for it with my credibility!  I'm well known! etc..etc.."

The old real estate agent looked like she was going to kill him.

i got the melvins when they were on HBO , they go look at a mansion then they play the bit , ill send it to you Beto(its on VHS) i finally got my dvds this week :)
