I'm sittin' here watchin' the Oakland A's and New York Yankees playin' on T.V.
  Saturday May 15th
Right around the 5th inning when they come back from a commercial. They are showing fans in the seats. The 2 people they are showing sitting there is none other than King Buzzo and Mike Patton.

  Strange...

  Like Groundhogs day or something.

-edit- They are playing in Oakland and it's 13 to 3 Yankees in the 5th.

-edit- Now, make that 15 to 3 in the 5th.

yeah ...I  was at a friends..they turned on the yankees/A's game, 9th inning..it was already a slaughter, 15 to 6 Yankees..everyone left the room for a smoke outside..so I'm sitting there watching this huge plazma screen home theater screen..and there's a foul ball hit into the stands....and next thing I know there's a big close-up of Buzzo !!!
I freaked!! The guy doing the play by play said two things I remember...1st...something like "this guy had  a crew cut when the game started".....and "how long would it take someone to grow their hair that long & why would you want to"!!  Typical jerky remarks but it was funny as hell seeing King B....great big close-up of him too...had to have been for a good 15-20 seconds! Wish the Melvins could get that kind of prime-time coverage! When I stop to think of the odds of  having actually caught this clip to begin with...it boggles the mind! Rock & roll!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Again....
That's amazing

Seems like BUzzo is trying to do a publicity stunt for his band.
It's unlikely someone from this board happened to be taping this game. So if you have a friend who tapes and watches baseball.... ask him/her for it before it is too late.

I wonder when the melvins get offered to open baseball games

Grungeisdead

It's all fucking good-dini as far as I'm concerned. Then again, I'd eat a MELVINS deep fried turd. GO MELVINS!!

That's not Patton that's sitting next to him. Check for yourself at the ipecac website.

This is a different game to that one.

also, no one even said it was Patton sitting next to him,
some of us speculated that the empty seat may be Patton's.

Early in the month of May. Buzz was picked by the T.V. people as "Fan of the Game". That was at a Chicago White Sox game.

Then...

a couple of weeks later. I was watching the  Oakland's A's vs. The New York Yankees, and the TV cameras were showing King Buzzo, and sitting next to him, was Mike Patton.

This was the SECOND time Buzz was shown on TV at a baseball game.
