High there..!!  hey! I went to both of those shows in seattle too.  They were fucking awesome.  i think having Adam Jones on second guitar is what put the shows over the top.
 The band was so good those nights that jello iddn't detract from the music at all, in fact his whole shtick was kind of light comedy in my mind.
 Which makes me smile thinking about what buzzo relly thinks about the whole thing.
i totally understand people being turned off by jello's rants. really those are excruciatingly painful.  But the band was so damn good....
 What a bonus if you don't understand English and you took 2 hits of acid....
 are people throwing shit at jello - cuz Buzzo will prob'ly walk off when that happens.  Don't piss him off.
 And yes - Buzzo is just making a living.  
 Jello - he's getting one last chance to take his shtick around the world.
 people that are going - just try to enjoy!

If its any consolation, from what I've read, Jello Biafra wrote most of the music for the Melvins/Jello release. I cant stand Jello Biafra. I have all the Lard releases though. For the music. I gotta say I didnt care for this release.

personally, i thought the first jelvins album was ok. it had a couple of decent songs, but his voice gets annoying (my opinion) after awhile. i haven't heard the second album yet.
and.. to the person who started this thread (i forgot your name, fancypants): did you go to a jelvins concert expecting only melvins songs? i don't think jelvins are better than the regular melvins stuff, but it sure as hell wouldn't be the worst concert i've been to. i'm not even gonna start listing all those crap bands we got out there..

Jello is a polarizing force.  You either love him or hate the living shit out of him.  I kind of like his voice.  It's really nostalgic, takes me back to high school.

i think jello is a total retard, especially politically,  but i'd still go to a jelvins show in a heartbeat.  just stand in front of buzz's amps and you'll never hear anything else.  ever again for that matter.
