what is sawed off?  is this a complete melvins-lineup side project using pseudonyms?  i remember hearing something about it but i never really investigated..

Damn! Instead of force feeding us endless demos of Snake Appeal, why dont they release a rarities CD?! What do they own stock in E bay or something? It could be a damn box set for fuck's sake. Not to mention some decent live recordings. Your Choice sounds great but Alive At Club Fucker isnt even worth owning.

does  it surprise you, blip?  they like the ebay scramble for melvins merchandise.  the reason they don't release a rarities "BOX SET" is the same reason they will make melvins fetuses and sell 12 of them.  they want their products to be rare and sought-after.  i was shocked enough when they put together a best-of album.  if they ever sell a box set of all the recordings that are impossible to find anywhere, i would be   ed.

They are consummate businessmen, I suppose. Its a big con. You really think anyone would listen to the Misfits if it werent for all the collectibles and rarities? No one would remember who the Misfits are if it werent for their marketing strategy. Surely the music does not differentiate them from any other shitty band from that period of time.

sometimes i wonder if they are a band first or a business first...i think they are slowly changing over from band to business, but it seems that (as of late, anyway) they have still managed to hold onto their melviny-flair.  let's just hop they can keep it.

On discogs and somewhere else online it says these are covers of some band named the Ronsons. The trail went immediately dead when I tried to find the originals or any other mention of the Ronsons. Is this some extra deep trolling going on, or an inside joke, or a fictional back story to this unlikely release?
