Blackmore's Rainbow did similar cover art years ago, thats the first thing that hit my mind when I saw your post.

Isn't that what the hold up on the release was? Packaging/cover art?

Lazer

Ya thats what they're saying, but obviously it's a load of BS!!
They actually sent out promo CDs already to radio and press
and they were getting terrible feedback from most sources,
so I think they're actually using this excuse about packaging
to go back and re-record it because it wasnt testing well at
"college" radio and with "indie" publications. Anyways, thought
you guys would like to see it.

klump

where did you get this? (like your gonna tell ,haha)

Lazer

I found the graphics the same place that I found the album:

Dr. Gonzo

I own the album... 74 minutes or so... pfffffffffffffff I can't believe people would pay for it. I hope they re-record it...
Lunica... great pic!

Here's the inside pages of the booklet:

yeknod ykoops

what does everyone (who's heard it) think of the album? i personally don't see what the big fuss is about, they said it was gonna be "ambient" and shit, and that's exactly what it is. so even though it's one huge track, i think it flows very well so it never gets boring, and it doesn't just sound like one long song because it is constantly changing. thumbs up from yeknod.

Alnis

I've downloaded this today, and I've listened to it twice. I think it's really really good. Very scary stuff. It's like stars of the Lid, mixed with Matmos, mixed with...I dunno...Fantomas. Patton did very well to make it flow, and the different moods are great. And very well recorded and produced.

The pictures add a lot to it as well.

P.s>What fuss? Do people not like this?

It doesn't really sound like something the Fantomas would do.  It's not likely that they'll take people's feedback into consideration and re-record it.
