Yeah, it depends on the browser you're using. I know that IE users on Windows sometimes have to bookmark a website first before the favicon - as it is being called - appears. Personally I prefer Firefox ;]

yea.  safari is equal to firefox, plus it is mac osx native, so it's that much sweeter for us true mac geeks....ah yes.

funny thing about that favicon..it appears on my parents' computer at home (also a mac, also safari.) but not on mine.  very strange.
