Well if were still on the topic to talk about Melvins songs and what they mean to you, I just want to say the whole song of "Sacrifice" is really good (Do covers count?)

Well I think it's good because it, to me, describes the way "Those who are afraid to live" (Goverment officials) "Demand a sacrifice of your life" (Troops, to go like to Iraq and "Sacrifice there life".)

I don't know, maybe I'm dillusional.

Im pretty sure Buzz sings it as "those who are free to live.....demand a sacrifice".  As in, they enjoy a comfortable life at the expense of others.   Ive yet to hear the Flipper version, so the Melvins might have modified it.

This is one of my favorite lines. To me, it is like an emphatical rebuttal to something you hold dear. A swan is beauty to me, and for some fucked up reason, you just sank it, Why? A personal attack on me?

What does Sink my swan mean to you?

I always interpreted that line as "You destroyed the only pure thing in my life."
