The best record store in town closed its doors (grrr), so I was forced to to pre-order the disc at a chain store because otherwise they wouldn't have ordered it.  I just got a call to come pick up my order... a week early!!  I don't think it would be polite to correct him...

my boyfriend found the promo copy in generation today- used for eight bucks. yeah that was a pretty good find. hes got it now so i havent listened to it but the orders wacky and the inside design so so.
will get and burn cd tomorrow. very happy with todays purchases.

Hopefully my local place will have it in, I was pleasently suprised to see copies of both the Lustmord & Jello Colabs on the shelf. Thats a pretty amazing thing to see where I live.

 I got it in the mail Wednesday from CD Universe. Been listening to it for the last two days. Fucking awesome. Melvins are probably one of the few bands today that can re-record one of their classic albums and have it sound better than the original.

Nice minimalist artwork. The only thing I can think of with the "proper" CD sleeve this time is that they save the lone Melvins CDs with "new" material for the "front on back" design.

I like it. This new version of Pearl Bomb is 10000000x better than the original.
Spread Eagle is way better too.
All good. Buzzo's voice is better than ever.
Copache is still a bit boring but what can you do.

Just got mine today from CD Universe. It is just totally amazing in my estimation. You're right, Buzzo's voice is killer and everything is just WOW! That would have been sweet to be at that show. Wonder if Goodtimes was there? Toshi recorded it, that's cool to have a producer in the mix of MELVINS/Altamont, etc. Shite I just love the MELVINS. NEAT!

Damn, I knew it was a Cream song(from Wheels Of Fire), couldn't think of it, and didn't really give it much thought. I've had all the Cream stuff on tape since I was a youngster. I think there's a really good version of that on Cream - Live Volume 2.
