it wasn't butthole....it was some other idiot that forgot about the "WORK-SAFE IMAGES" policy here.
some idiot that really should have remembered about the policy and set a bad example.
some idiot whose first and last alternate username was "catpenis"

Is that why Brooklyns Finest PoonTang hads to change his/her avatar?

glen

so this catpenis person left because they had a bad username and/or avatar?   why didn't he just change his avatar?
I guess I don't see whats wrong with the word 'catpenis'.

I still think butthole was involved.   somehow.

butthole wasn't involved, except maybe as a distant inspiration.

I been back on this the last few days.  I find myself turning it up louder and louder so by the time I get to HAG ME my ears are damn near bleeding.

seems like I said that before.

Really, what is it about such a HEAVY fucking sound that makes a grown man/woman weep?  Hag Me is one of the first Melvins songs that made me just tense up and cringe, and really toss my hed back n forth.   I had known and loved the Melvins by this point, but this and 'Boris' just made shit my 10th grade pants.  I stole your gravity, I damned your heart.

the bloat

In my humble opinion Hag Me is the heaviest thing the Melvins have ever done. That section towards the end where the song changes and sort of stumbles into the chugging guitar is really one of the finest moments in their 20+ year history. Granted the Melvins have created a lot of heavy atmospheres, but this is THE BEST.....
