They do blur a bit on first listen, but it's a fantastic 18-minute piece altogether.

I reckon this'll be the album The Melvins are remembered for. Don't know why, it just seems perfectly put together. Plus it started the whole drone-doom thing really.

That really is the best one. The circle of albums they did at that time was just THE best stuff they've ever done (Bullhead, Eggnog, Lysol). After that, they just made really good material, not JAW DROPPING HEAVINESS.

i was staying with this woman and she had the exact same painting on her wall.  she said it was her grandma's and it had been in the family for at least 50 years.  i think it's also the image of brian wilson's record label.

it's my favorite cover of any of their albums.
i think it suits the album perfectly more than any of their others, no offense to mackie.

it's weird if it is another's cover, though---just because it was totally original to me.

this has nothing to do with lysol, but i can't make a new thread yet since i'm at home and my camera is at my dorm.
i was flipping through the pages of some magazine where i found shirley temple black, an article on her, and it had a few pictures.
one of the pictures was young lori sitting on her lap playing the piano.
it was pretty cool.

can you scan the article? that would be too cool.  as for the lysol cover, i've given this tidbit of info but maybe people think i'm full of it, but the lyrics to koollegged somewhat reference a painting of jesus and an indian.  maybe this was meant to be jesus AS an indian,  maybe not but a friend of mine has been to his house and he does have this painting hanging in his living room.

Right i cant really remember if its the right film scene or if it really happend but i also may have been on drugs but in a clockwork orange i think it is there is the lysol cover on one of the records in the store he goes to i remember thinkin i should post it here see if anyone else would notice that was about 3 months ago and i have no recolection of why i didnt but this post has helped remind me. I dont own a copy of the film so if anyone can watch it see if they can see it and if it is actually there.
i remember when i used to go through lookin at all the albums i still wanted by the melvins when i could look at them in shops instead of just online and becoming obsessed with the album artwork and always laughing at the back. possible there best artwork.? anyone agree? so best melvins album artwork.
