I want to make a a cdr of rare and none album tracks. I wanted the run this list by you folks, in hopes that you might point out any tracks that I might have missed. Any other suggestions regarding track order or anything else are welcome. To the best of my knowledge all this songs are legit

1. Lexicon Devil, I know its on the singles 1-12 but it is a rocking little number.
2. Adolescent Wet Dream
3. Four Letter Woman
4. Youth Of America, yes I own Electroretard. I think it is wastefull to use all 80 minutes.
5. With Yo' Hearts, Not Yo' Hands
6. Sweet Young Thing (Ain't Sweet No More)
7. You'll Be Taken Care Of
8. I Like Porn
9. Specimen
10. Someday
11. Love Canal
12. Night Goat, original version
13. God Of Thunder
14. Buick MacKane
15. Anal Satan
16. Butcher Town
17. Instant Larry
18. Divorced (alternate Simpson's ending)
19. Shitstorm (reversed) thanks are in order for conda
20. Leech

Does this resembled the Leech bootleg too closely?

Rusty Shackleford

what's divorced (alternate Simpson's ending)?

Chuck Hartford

I found it on soulseek, my guess this that it was the original ending and that couldn't get the rights to use it.

oops. that was what I named it a few years ago when i found it on winmx, and it seems
to have ended up on quite a few people's harddrives.
I've since renamed it Melvins w-Tool - Divorced [mixed by Ec0li], cuz that's what the original
guy who made it called it.

Symptom of the Universe is a great cover.

I don't know. Of course they record the song when they just started out, at least I figure. The cover is almost identical to Sabbath's version of the song, unlike most other covers by the Melvins. Still, it's great to hear this song.

only if its recorded too fast...
Again,a gorgeous tragedy approaches,in the wake of those thought contained. But sonic reverberations shake the very marrow of the fragile chamber of mans lifeforce, and again the minions quiver in fear,as daylight fails to come, and Melvins walk the battlefield, bored and hungry...

I like Mark's voice better when he screams 'Leeeeeeeeech'.

I disagree, I would say that the Melvins version of symptom is alot more rockin. the riff isn't polished like on "sabotage" and Buzz's vocals have an edge too them, instead of coked out ozzys. And they cut the song short before it sucks.

THey turned it into a pretty thrashy little tune, though its not too terribley changed.

Man when are the Melvins gonna get around to releasing out all those random tracks. They sure love rereleasing shit. Prolly a pain to secure rights.
