Well, well, well, last Tuesday night, I wore my blue-n-pink to a taping of WWE SmackDown!/ECW on Sci-Fi Live (pro wrestling shows for those not in the know). I wasn't by the ring, but they did zoom in during a move in the main event on SD! where you could see me and my shirt pretty well on the TitanTron (big video screen above the entrance). The SmackDown! show will air at 7 pm CST tonight (Friday) on The CW network in America. As for those of you not in America, I suggest checking your local listings (unless you dislike pro wrestling, in which case disregard this post completely). Of course there is no guarantee they'll use the aforementioned shot and then this post could all be for nothing. On a side note, I brought a sign which read "LUE 402", so look out for that too if you decide to watch.

which match was it in?

It was during the final match with King Booker and his court against Batista, Lashley, and Cena. It didn't look as good on TV as I remembered on the moniter. Just a blue shirt with a pink blob in the middle.

hopefully you all will get to see our shirts book-ending the melvins live across this country.  the roadies are supposed to keep wearing them for the rest of the tour. each in rainbow afro wigs on either side of the stage.  worked out pretty well. its like their official uniform.

after the grand rapids show this drunk dude was screaming at one of the roadies to give him his shirt.  the roadie pointed at me and said "ask him for one, he gave it to me."  it didn't seem to register with the drunk dude though because he just kept screaming "give me your shirt!".  the roadie looked at me and shook his head as if to acknowledge this mans idiocy.   other people around started asking me about the shirts after that though.  they also wondered why I got dale's sticks.   trying to explain something to either drunk or stoned people who have their ears ringing still is pretty damn futile though.  I gave a brief explanation at best. 

but let me re-itterate this:  it was pretty fucking cool to look up there and see the melvins tearing through OVEN and see our shirts as the backdrop.  pretty fucking cool.
