Anyone know if the Toledo show will be 21+? I don't want to drive three hours for nothing.
This isn't a time for lectures!

I got to freaking work! Why do they have to have a concert on a Monday? Oh well, I can't keep dwelling on it. My cousin will definitely go and I am sure he will either film it or record audio. I don't have any vacation days built up yet since I have not been working at my new job for a year yet.

.....i don't understand the problem you are having..?  are you saying you won't be going to this once in a lifetime event because of work?  don't people ever get sick anymore?

Mad Arab

Yeah, but I like my bills to be paid. :)

Vcavallo

you really couldn't feign illness for a day?  i'm sure you've already considered this, so i don't think i am suggesting something revolutionary, im just wondering why you can't do that.
Vinney "only takes 15 years to make good on his promises" Cavallo

Mad Arab

No, I have not considered it and do not want to. I am still keeping my options open. Maybe I will stay up all night and go into work anyway. I haven't willingly stayed up all night in many years. It would be interesting to see if I could manage it.

Seeing the Melvins is not a once in a lifetime event, but I know that we say this because we are fans. I have seen them before and like I said my cousin will more than likely document the show anyway.

Vcavallo

yes, true, not a once in a lifetime event per se, but some of the reviews lately......have claimed otherwise......

well, i wish you luck and hope that you are able to both see the show and somehow not effect your work situation.

Just go to the Columbus or the toledo show.  Columbus from Cinn. is 100 miles, and toledo to cinn. is 200 miles.
