Melvins - October 1st - Toledo OH

Holy hell my ears are still ringing. I'm tired as shit, so I'm just going to give a quick breakdown, and hopefully someone else will post something better.

1. They moved the fucking show to a different venue! (Frankie's wasn't ready or something.)
2. I know someone taped the show, and will be throwing it up on Dime eventually.
3. Ghostigital is a pretty awesome band.
4. Double drums = holy shit.
5. I think they cut the set list short, as I saw Hooch and Revolve on it, but they didn't play 'em.
6. King Buzzo's stage banter was really long, and funny to boot. ("Who can swing a pool cue while listening to the Beatles?")
7. Bullhead is BullSHIT
8. Dale Crover is a very nice man. He came out after the show (while Buzzo and Jared bolted, but it's Toledo, so who can blame them) and talked to everyone. He signed my poster, which I later realized was already signed by him. Whoops.
9. Go to any Melvins/Big Business show that you can.

Miss 30mins . . . & they cut it short compared w/ the last few nights

Awsome!!! at least one was a requested Sacrifice as closer . . . a request! Whatya wanna hear Buzz asks? What a saint
Better than an impromptu Sacrifice? An impromptu Sacrifice Jared can't play . . . so Dale takes bass & Jared takes half of double drums!!! A killer version that stumbles but soon finds its legs & what nice legs they were! Buzz exits and they morph it into a on the spot cover of Dirt by the Stooges!

Too bad we missed so much cause what we saw was smoking! To boot there is mabey 40 people there!!
Too bad for Melvins . . . but man what a view & lots of room to dance.
Fuck Toledo & Fuck Frankie in every hole a couple more times
Melvins & Tshirt guy felt sorry for my cold Canadian ass & said "wow that sucks, you should move to Toledo guy" & gave me a free tshirt & poster of my choice and signed it like the champs they are! Thanx & Thanx again!!
6hr drive home throwing hexxes on Frankies & Toledo but loving that Sacrifice . . .wow!! Oh well at least I missed Ghost Shitital!

Yeah man, when I got directions from a guy outside of Frankie's, we went UNDER the bridge. You basically just stay on the road Frankie's is on. Nice pictures, too. All the ones I got didn't save for some reason.

Yeah some nice pictures but you shouda been standing with me right in front of Buzzo.  Had a great view of everybody but Dale who was buried behind the drum sets.  I still can't believe we spent like 10hrs driving and saw only 4 songs...geezus.  Lookin forward to Friday in Buffalo for sure.
