It's unfortunate that apparently I'm the only one here who had any interest in going to this show, because I don't know what the heck to say other than that they were good. :D

I liked the ridiculous nature of Ghostigital. But then I'm nearly alone among people who've heard the Sugarcubes in not thinking the male singer is a dumbass.
Unfortunately they started kinda late, at like 8:20, for an 8:00 show.

BB and the Melvins were great.
I only had (until today) SW and Houdini so the only songs I recognized were Set Me Straight and Sky Pup, which were in a medley with some other song in between, played without breaks. So of course the one in the middle is the one my girlfriend wants me to get a CD of.  :o Oh well. It was good.
Those two songs were much more energetic and alive than I'd imagined possible.

They also did some songs that really benefitted from the double drum line up because they were fucking tight.

dude you should be buying EVERY melvins CD. n00b.

the "song in the middle" is a Creem cover, isn't it? I think they play it on the Houdini live disc.

Oh, I was the idiot who yelled "where's dale?" when dale was playing guitar during Big Business's set because I knew he came out first but I assumed he'd be on drums. Maybe I'll be on the tape

At least u didn't shout "where's buzz?" when u saw this guy with a grey afro playing guitar for the melvins  :D
Why say no to drugs when you can say yes?

I was at the very back of the venue, right behind the bar, so probably not!

this was first time i saw the Melvins, and it was a rockin' good show.  coady + dale = pummeling drum action.  holy christ.  i took a bunch of photos for yr viewing pleasure (only beef was that the lighting was the same for the entire show, and they didn't use any of the backlighting at all).

havent' seen anyone mention the teaser yet...for the lucky fans who got in the club early (less than 50, i'd say), they got on stage @ around 7:30 and played "the talking horse", then after playing they asked where a good place for sushi was.  failing a response, they were looking for hot dogs.  i guess they settled for Indian.

that pic was from the aforementioned teaser, when they played "the talking horse" to about 50 people at 7:30.

he did complain about the warmth of wearing the tunic, but told the crowd that contractual obligations forbade him from not weariing it.
