I didn`t laugh one time when I watched Big Lebowski. I`ve never undestood what the fuzz is about. Stupid films like Dodgeball though, that`s more up my alley.

Ive been on a John Waters "high" for a few months now, but its is starting to wear off.(but he is definatly still a hero)
So Ive been watching Coen brothers stuff now to "mellow out".

Yea but you can't compare a comedy to a movie like City of God, Blue Velvet, Eraserhead. 
Most like it due to it leaving you with a good feeling afterwards (maybe not after 6 or more views). Groundhog Day gives me that.

oh please no.  i can't take any more big lebowski quotes.  they overrun my daily existence!  it really wasn't that great a movie <--- the conclusion i came to after viewing number 7 or 8. 

and I agree. the big lebowski is a decent movie.   but that is all.  I think the rhetoric and script gets a bit carried away in this movie.   makes it almost unrealistic to listen to an extended conversation about a rug or viet nam or whatever.    IMO.

That's what's funny. The story and conversations are ridiculous. They're so far fetched and unrealistic but at the same time they're sort of not.

The movie also has alot of somewhat hidden lines that you only catch after viewing it several times.

...as to what we have here is just a bunch of camel fuckers looking for the reverse button on a soviet tank.
