Show In Orlando,FL @The Social 11/4

This was the third time seeing The Melvs for me, one other show at this venue in 2000 i believe and on the 2nd stage at ozzfest in 98. This show last saturday was the best I think. I enjoyed the opening acts alot; especially Porn's fucked up set and equally fucked up stage dress. (bee costume, vegas elvis costume, and dwayne allman looking guitar player)Only at a melvins show will you get this type of unparalleled insanity. It was interesting seeing the looks on peoples faces-you could tell if it was their first melvins show or not.
I thought BB was great too as it was the first time ive seen dale play guitar. He looks like he needs to lose a few pounds..But i am always amazed at how hard he bashes the drums, and having coady on double duty made it even more awesome. The sound was really great, buzz's rig sounded heavy and thick and got me amped enough to go mix it up amongst the moshers. Buzz stopped the show to admonish some asswipe that was punching people in the face-really embarrased the shit out of him. Jared was impressive on bass and really does look like he idolizes Buzz. I hope he stays on as bassist, in fact I hope this lineup continues, i think it is the best yet..
