your posts seem as spontaneous as possible sometimes.

All real artists and art are spontaneous.

I waited for a few minutes, trying to figure out what I want to say, but I actually think that's a great thought.

The best non-paid job in the world.

No but I had a a bottle of Heineken, a banana and a joint.

blag jesus himself

those tough guys at pitchfork also listed justin timberlake's new pile as one of the best albums of the year.  so, in a way, its kind of an insult that they didin't give ASA a lower review

they're just covering their talentless asses.
Judy is mad.🤣

the bloat

Has anyone heard the Justin Timberlake album? It might just be the coolest fucking thing you've ever heard!

Besides you should hear yourselves being all closed minded. Afterall, wasn't it the excitement of listening to something new that brought you to the Melvins in the first place?

That and taste.
Your probably being sarcastic... my cyber sarcasm detector isn't working.  You find Justin's material to be new and exciting? I personally think it is entirely safe to dismiss his colletion of material past present and future.

the bloat

Actually I wasn't being sarcastic.

Well....maybe a little. I would never buy a Timberlake CD, but I would take a listen if it were handed to me.

As for Pitchfork, I have discovered a shitload of great bands on that website. Many of which I listen to all the time and some that have enhanced my life greatly. On the other hand, I also disagree with their reviews from time to time. For instance, they have never been fond of the Melvins, except when they're talking about how influential they are. They also rip Tool and The Mars Volta so there you go...

And as you mentioned 'tommyhc', it is all about taste and that's all a review is right? Someone's opinion.

Most journalists do that.

Nicely said.
It is possible that I am over confident in my belief that he will never release anything worthwhile. But I truly doubt it. But then again it comes back to a matter of taste.  What I find to be thrash doesn't make it so.

Sorry if I offended some  JT fans.  (I must say I have been playing it safe since my initial outburst at a a poor soul when I first joined the board... let's spice things up a bit).   Fuck Justin Timberlake.... there we go.

He was cool when he was still underground.

Lunica

You comedic genius surpasses me.
And there is not a bit of sarcasm in that.
