Can anyone tell me about the history of the Melvins Army? I've scoured the net and found absolutely nothing. First one to tell will be awarded Plastic Treasure.
experimental industrial ambient nothings. give constructive/destructive criticism.

it was a fan club based in san fran, probably run by dale or at least his friends. it ended around 96.  i believe.

I was a member (#83 as far as I remember). Still have my membershipcard somewhere. Received the "Your Choice" live-CD, an iron-on Melvins Army sticker, the memshipcard and a fanzine (Pissing In the Wind) when I enlisted.

Since then I only received fanzines allthough I heard some were offered a video compilation and the X-mas 4x7" boxset. Last issue of PItW said that Melvins Army was being laid to rest and a new fanclub would be started. As far as I know it never happened.
To be afraid when you are alone, in the dark, faced with the unknown, the unspeakable; that is understandable fear. To be afraid, mortally afraid, in broad daylight, in a crowded city street, that is to know Melvins.

i was reading an article online about how to start a sovereign  nation...anyone interested?  Melvinia? Buzzopolis? Glueygonda? Crovenia? Ozma? Teetburg?
