Hey Clevelanders, I noticed the 9-29 date isn't listed yet on ticketmaster or at Peabody's Down Under site. What are they waiting for? :?  How is Peabody's? Never been there, looks like it's way downtown. So far I've been to the Grog Shop, House Of Blues, Agora, Beachland Ballroom, & the The Odeon(R.I.P.)   Beachland & Agora are probably my favorites, easy parking and nicely set up.

hey chiefy!    plan on seeing my bright smiling face there.  I think I'm going to make the trip down.    I noticed it isn't listed on their website either.   I doubt highly it will be on ticketmaster.   you'll wind up buying the tix through peabody's site.
give it another day or 2 and then call the peabody's hotline.  let me know how you make out. I'll be wanting to get my tix as well.

I'm guessing within a week here it'll show up on Ticketmaster. Look at the bands listed playing Peabody's on TM site, mostly stuff I've never heard of, that probably draws less. I just don't like driving 3 hrs to a small club without a ticket. Would suck not to be able to get in. Last time I saw them in Cleveland was fall '04,(Kevin's last stand) - Grog Shop and it was pretty packed.

word up.   I'm looking at more like 4 hours.    if I pull this off I'll most likely shack-up in the nearest hotel.  which is, by my investigations, .1 miles away.   crawling distance.

I have never gotten Melvins tix through ticketmaster, but I had to get both the Seattle and Portland tix through them this time.  Expect to pay about 7-8$ more than normal per ticket. :(

Of course, it's worth it.

I was at the show! But don't worry, Peabody's doesn't sell out. Except for maybe Mushroomhead (ugh). Too bad Peabody's kind of sucks, but I've only been there once, so maybe it got better.

if you guys want to get around the ticketmaster gouging, buy your tix at grimey's record shop. now i don't know if they do mailing or whatever, but i'll go in there and pay cash. its a two dollar fee but its better than paying for free parking.

thanks for the info.  last time we just walked in about 2hrs before the show as the other taper has friends at Blue Cats that gets him in.  got setup and talked to the bands a while before doors opened.  hopefully this will happen again!
