The Bloat  8)
The Bloat dropped out of the 30th anniversary set early in the leg.

Buzz rates Baressi. Would be amazing to hear another recorded album from the him again. Stoner witch is my goto when testing speakers. Amazing album.

How does everyone feel about the way buzz sings the chorus to night goat live? It went from cool sounding mumbo jumbo ("like a hog dance like a big dance my poor dead shadow wahhhh") to "you got high/low like u do...like a hotel like a fix yeah my loaded friendly yahhh". I dunno. Something about the way he changed the chorus just doesn't tickle my fancy. He's been singing the new way for years now, watching this video just made me think of it.

Would be a good question to ask, he probably forgot the original lyrics

Do you have any recordings where Buzz sings 'cool sounding mumbo jumbo ("like a hog dance like a big dance my poor dead shadow wahhhh"'?  Even boots from 1993 seem pretty consistent with the 'like a hotel.. yahhh!' part.

I hate to be that guy, but to me Mark D left his prints all over that line. (might have also been Buzz on Stag - anyone?)
Kevin putting his stank on it was the only thing that did it justice.

Yes, slide bloat sounded great!  That distorted wounded beast sound he got still kills me.

the oldest live version I have is '95 and ur right he does sing the same hotel fix yeah part. I guess he just sang whatever in the studio and decided to make it hotel fix yeah forevermore.  I always thought he changed it more recently. I don't know there's just something about it that I don't like and I have never not liked Buzzs lyrics.(with the exception of some of the stuff on tmka). He usually has a way of putting stuff together that just sounds awesome. Even if it makes no sense it just sounds like it does and it almost makes U feel like u are stupid for not understanding it. But like a hotel like a fix yeah just doesn't do that for me.

There was a thread called something like
"A question for those of you who already own the book" where someone was bitchin about the gluey treatment on the spine.  :nerd:
