It's there. I can hear it on my headphones, but it's subtle. Kind of like the bass on Melvins Lite.

Remember, tv is heavily compressed (especially on a foreign talk show, mixed by some dick who thinks everything after Sinatra sucks). Add that to the fact that they're playing a room four times the size of the bars they were playing at the time, with 1 bass amp, instead of 4.

*I think that's a bass amp behind Mark. Just looks like a black box. There's a piano behind Buzz and he's playing through a combo amp. Not their finest hour, but kudos for not killing the host and making the little girl cover her ears!

That was a great venue. I liked that you get money off your next beer if you take the empty bottle back to the bar. Or something. A mate of mine called Pamp (from Garden Gang) who runs a Sunday night radio show from there was going to interview Buzz at the radio station that afternoon, but he got sick and couldn't arrange it. Glad someone was able to do it instead.
