Just wanted to bump this thread again.

Thanks to all those who made it because it turned out quite nice. As you can see by the first post I did in this thread I wasn't expecting much but I just finished watching it. Loved the effects, really helped out instead of getting annoying like many other live shows and the sound was pretty decent. Great stuff!

I thought Patton was better than he was on the MillenMonWork.

Low Rider was classic, Sacrifice was listenable. (I hate the Lysol version).

Pigs was awesome.

It was a good DVD. Not amazing, but not bad either.

just got done watching this thing.  pretty damn good.  i wish Patton would shut the fuck up on the Melvins shit though.  the only Melvins songs i really liked on this DVD was Skinhorse, Sacrifice and Pigs of the Roman Empire.  it's a shame too because the band just fucking kills and he ruins it.  oh well, he's not for everybody.  all in all good DVD.

To each his own taste. There are crappy Melvins bootleg videos from '89 that I've enjoyed intensily, much better than Slayer's Reign In Blood dvd, which is, I guess, excellent quality.

But of course, Slayer ain't Melvins. I guess if you're looking for a quality Melvins live dvd, start downloading a few from DaD or make a trade with Idlehanz or Beto, because I don't see Buzz & Dale and the boys releasing a Melvins dvd any time soon.

To me this illustrates a point.  For all the accusations of the Melvins just trying to make a dollar from the fans, they don't seem to put out the obvious money makers like DVD's or "best of's".

But yeah, that Slayer DVD was kind of corny. Maybe I should just download th videos from youtube and throw together a DVD
