Melvins - Monday 28 January 2008 at Oude Luxor Theater Rotterdam

Can't wait! I checked Trevor Dunn's MySpace and he seems to be busy so I think the Melvins will perform with the Big Business line up, or might David Scott Stone be a candidate. Either way, I'm stoked, and I'm sure it will be special, regardless the line up. Lysol, POTRE (hopefully)... in a nice authentic theater, oh man what a treat.

that should be a treat for you euro-folk.  seeing them in a theater as opposed to a mega-festival.

but POTRE??   were you thinking maybe eggnog or houdini to go with that lysol?

I just want to do a european tour I've only seen them live once and that was last year, I've been craving to see them again ever since  :D

Well, euro, it's only one show in Rotterdam as far as I know.

I was thinking POTRE as that was what they played two, I mean three years ago. At the time they played Roman Bird Dog/Hung Bunny, POTRE and 'Kranky Klaus', to three movies. But I don't know if it will be the same movies, or if they have altered the sound tracks or anything.

wow, that WILL be cool.   I'd love to get a chance to see that.

seems like jared and coady are finally learning ALL the MELVINS ropes.

No, it just took a while until a date had been set. Keiji Haino is performing the next day.

EDIT! Woohoo, you're right! They're playing on Monday, and on Wednesday they're playing together with Keiji Haino. Ha I'm stoked, two times Melvins in three days. I'm a happy man.

i saw the theater joint, twice, but regret being sober. i dont remember being blown away :(
