I completely meant it as a compliment!! His voice has that
snarl, that angry inflection to it, like something off of
Red Sails in the Sunset. Again, great work Mop!

i couldn't agree more.
my favorite covers are the ones that don't sound anything like the original i.e. devo's "satisfaction".
i fucking love this version of oven, it's one of the most original covers i've ever heard.
it kinda reminds me of tori amos's version of slayer's "raining blood".

Yeah, i was never really happy with the vocals, i considered redoing them or soaking them in reverb but gave up and just left them.
