supposedly they're making kurt cobain's biography heavier than heaven into a movie.
there are rumors that a little buzz osbourne will be portrayed in the film, maybe melvins.
yet who knows how big of a part they will play in it if at all and if they will be portrayed correctly
still, verrrrry interesting and stimulating
yet, they're getting courtney love as executive producer
heh, i guess she thinks she's as hot as scarlett johansson because she's been personally cast by her as her, with ryan gosling to play kurt.

"While Cobain's and Love's roles might be taken there are still some other cast spots to be filled: Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, and Melvin's founding member Buzz Osbourne (Jack Black?) are all mentioned in Cross' biography on Cobain."

all just rumors so far, but i have to think that "buzz" or "dale" could peek their heads in on some scenes
if so, it will be surreal.

this has probably been mentioned before, just doing my part if it has not been.

i haven't read whatever book it's supposedly based on, but if courtney love is an executive producer, you automatically know it'll be some whitewashed hagiography (of herself) with no correlation to reality.
Can you all shut your damn cocks for one second? Music is the only thing that's real in this queef world of dildo ass chodes.

yep
if they're going to have melvins in it i hope they don't give her words any merit

heh, i bet it's going to start with his childhood and him having to overcome some huge emotional obstacle like buzz handing him a joint before his "first punk rock show" and it all going downhill from there.

i know all of you will be the first to the theaters to see it too!

Wouldn't Buzz and Dale have some sort of say in their likenesses being portrayed in a movie? I wouldn't think they'd let that happen.

Lou Reed and Bob Dylan couldn't do anything about their portrayals (in Dylan's case, a fictional character supposedly inspired by him) in that movie about Edie Sedgwick and Warhol.

the film has also sparked up news as Lou Reed, a member of the Velvet Underground and friend of Sedgwick, has told the New York Daily News, "I read that script. It's one of the most disgusting, foul things I've seen

Well it's not like it's going to be the real story or anything if Courtney has any involvement.

i work at blockbuster video, and i just rented that documentary. should be released tues feb 19th. it seems pretty interesting, a lot of never before heard interviews. i guess it is told in cobain's voice. they go into detail on cobain's most influential artists- quite a list on the back.
