Yeah I finally ordered a record player. I got an AT LP60X. It sounded good, but the mechanics are bunk. The Stop button never worked so I returned it. On the market for another one, but I have to be careful about not filling up the new house with collectibles.

I got proper sleeves and cleaned all my records.  It was nice. Discovered I had an extra delirium cordia 2LP I side my Wunderkammer.

So far I think the best sounding records I've tested were Rock is Hell. The worst by far are colored vinyl 7" from some indie labels. Haven't tried my lathe cuts yet. I want to get my upgraded turntable first. I could spend ~$200 and I don't need Bluetooth, built in AD converters or any of that BS. Just nice built in preamp, stable base (preferably wood), good tracking control, and properly weighted tone arm.
