some gathered information from an informed and qualified friend, ariste', and creator of vinyl you like to spend too much money on (loosely reworded):

contact the venue or promoter.  ask them if they will allow you to create a poster.  the band will claim 20% of the posters (give or take) the venue will ask for 20% (give or take) and the rest are yours to sell assuming they allow you to display them at the merch table. 

not sure if this theory will work on this tour since rumor has it they are doing something a little different as far as who does what.  all you can do is contact your venue and ask.

I don't suggest this for the Melvins shows. The entire tour series is just about confirmed.

i've tried dealing with the promoters/venue far too many times in the past and i found it a waste of time and really soured me on doing posters more often.
