hard choice,in my opinion they're not so similar,i fuckin love NWB for the 70 grooves,but ASA got a killer trilogy of songs,Rat faced granny-The Hawk-You've never been right.i prefer ASA's drums parts than NWB's ,but i prefer NWB's bass lines than ASA's.vocals are great for both the album,especially in NWB 
i vote for NWB,it sounds more homogeneous

I'm always amazed at peoples reactions to new Melvins albums.  It's no detraction to anyone's opinion, but I never seem to agree with most people's opinion on new records.  I'm just surprised when I see people expect their new albums to sound like something.   It's not going to happen.

(A)SA just because of Civilized Worm.

Billy Fish and Suicide in Progress are worthy competitors, but don't feel anywhere near as epic.

Those three songs, to me, are my favorite recent type of Melvins song.  Not that heavy, epic riffs, epic drumming, epic vocals.  Pure rock and roll, and some of the catchiest and groovin' riffs Buzzo has ever written.
