I'm still a little pissed off @ how the poll turned out, like I said I originally had every peice of his work, side projects etc.  then began to downsize as I could not submit the poll.  Maybe the admin.  would give me the permissions to re-do the poll w/ everything.  But whatever,  I didn't really put too much thought into how I actually grouped the albums - I hope it came out ok.  I think the "other" category was left out as well.

I personally chose Hostile Ambient Takeover - he really amazed me on that one.

The funny thing is that I play drums and have never actually thought about Dale's drumming in particular. He plays the perfect part for the song. That's one of those drummer cliches but it's true. Some of the music actually calls for the insane shit that he has pulled off. My vote was for HAT, but I'm listening to Ozma right now and it's fucking TIGHT. He hits the timing changes with the most incredible accuracy. The bridge in OVEN makes my crotch drip, the drums/vocals duet thing.

Dale is God. I'm a drummer and I love his playing. He's just so origonal. He's a big influence on me, and I hear it coming out in my playing. Definately one of my favorite drummers.

Oh, and Dudbean, I know what you mean. Those are exactly my thoughts. I mean, who the hell plays like that? I love watching Salad Of A Thousand Delights, and watching Dale; he just blows my mind away.
