Melvins played here tonight.  Kicked serious ass!  They are better than ever.  Played about the same set as the last show in Cali the other night.  Although they didnt play Safety third or Manky...bummer!  Started with Let it all be ended with Black Stooges and just killed in between!  Trevor Dunn's band wasnt bad either, make sure you check them out also.

Well, what was the setlist?! :P

FantoMANKY

Nope, didnt tape it.  I wanted to but the club wouldnt let me bring the camera in.  As for the setlist, like I said it was pretty much the same as the show at the boardwalk on the 28th.  Besides the 2 songs I mentioned that they didnt play they did play Lovely Butterfly and With Teeth.  They played the Beatles song for a few seconds and then went into Queen, it went together very well.  I think they played their normal 90 minutes but it really flew by.

Any idea how long Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant played for?

FantoMANKY

Trevor Dunn's band played for about 40-45 minutes I think.  They were really good, I was very impressed.  Usually its hard to watch a band play that long when they have no vocals and the music isnt very familiar to you but they were great!

Damn I missed it!  Oh well, isn't there an age restriction at that club anyhow?

FantoMANKY

I think its a 21 and over club.  I know they were ID'ing everyone as they came in.

Ah, well now I don't feel so bad.  Just a couple more years....
