I don't think Matt sucks,

Thats right! You KNOW he sucks.
:)

How? What is it that you're going after? I'm not denying you your opinion on his playing - it's just that you haven't mentioned it. You've just said that he sucks. Do you honestly listen to 26 Songs or Gluey Porch Treamtments and think, "the bass player sucks"? If so, why?
nobody cares, but for conversations sake.....
when someone says a bass player sucks I would imagine they are talking about his or her playing abilities. I dont care if matt lukin is a nice guy or a total asshole or if he literally sucks the cock.
while I listen tothe bass in 26 songs and gluey porch treatments I think "this bass player is just playing what he's told to play".  those two albums are all about buzz and dale in my opinion.
thanks for reading, Mints.

There you go. You finally said something. It follows that you feel the same way about every album that came before Prick.

Nope. YOU just told ME. Read above. Use your good eye.

You said, while I listen tothe bass in 26 songs and gluey porch treatments I think "this bass player is just playing what he's told to play".  That describes every bass player up to Mark, so it follows that you would feel the same way about them as you do about Matt. It's okay for me to say that.

Hey! I think the guy who started this thread was just fucking kidding. Obviously it won't happen. All the serious debate and fighting is funny though...
Well, we'll always have "In the Air Tonight." Will that be your most enduring song?
You know, that song won't lie down. It just won't go away. I mean, there's a Mike Tyson moment associated with it now. It's just bizarre. I guess it has a bit of mystery, a lot of atmosphere, and the drums coming in, pinning people to the wall.

You're very defensive. The point you're responding to isn't one that I made. Again, Matt playing with the Melvins isn't the issue I addressed. You're ignoring the fact that Lori and Joe played what they were told to, just like Matt. If you like their sound better just say so. If you like their clothes better just say so. Anything would be better than trying to burn me for asking an honest question.
