I thought the 2X4 tour WAS the COD tour, more or less.
released after the 2X4 tour was complete, obviously.  but basically COD was one of the 2X4 live shows (partially).   yes?

and there were only 2 shows performed and recorded at Club Mangler in Cupertino,
California which became the basis of the COD release.

I see.       so explain to me what the 2X4 tour was all about.  I thought it was 2 sets by 4 guys.  those 4 guys being buzz, dale, kev & DSS.    the first set being a noise set, a la' COD, and the second set being a "music" set of MELVINS material.  when did this happen in relation to COD's release?

No way, I'll bet its the real deal. Have you seen the liner notes for the trilogy? Mackie's art sometimes borders on a bit too minimal and definitely a little bland for my tastes. The Bootlicker has stupid vector lightning bolts that probably took about five minutes to create. The HAT artwork is cool eventhough its all borrowed from retro clipart.

I don't  think of her as much of an artist per say and it wouldn't surprise me if the Houdini artwork is totally gay.

what's wrong with minimal?  it's better than being too flashy.  less is more sometimes.
