Fascinating. Some pretty long drives there and then weirdly some very close ones too.

Who needs tickets to Alex's in Long Beach?

Who needs tickets to Pappy and Harriets?

I was going to go, but with Covid picking back up in California, sharing air with a sold-out crowd of sweaty men in a club is not something I am into.

^boo... we was hoping to see you at p&h. however, i understand your decision.

That's crazy - the price and availability of Melvins tix on the west coast. Last 3 times in Syracuse I drove 2 hrs, without a ticket, and got one an hour or so before doors opened. $30 cash at door basically. I'm sure it would be the same deal this year if I wanted to do so.

Kicks off tonight! I'm looking forward to seeing the setlist and a few videos of the performances. I hope to God that this time they shake up the set. Please no more Charlie, Sway, Night Goat, The Kicking Machine or any of the others that seem to be in constant rotation.

The set list May very well influence my decision to attend.
Well, we'll always have "In the Air Tonight." Will that be your most enduring song?
You know, that song won't lie down. It just won't go away. I mean, there's a Mike Tyson moment associated with it now. It's just bizarre. I guess it has a bit of mystery, a lot of atmosphere, and the drums coming in, pinning people to the wall.
