Man what are you talk about huh?

there's some good PTV I've heard and lots I've never really delved deeply into; mostly I always found 'em too "Rave/Dance/Disco" for my tastes ... and just way too Gen too. In TG s/he was a focal point but not a ringleader and had the others to temper that "Gen-ness" ... tho with PTV it's just all Gen all the time and a little Gen goes a long way.

I like PTV, including the oddball Wax Trax era when they had Dave from Soft Cell on board, but I see where you're coming from and can't really argue with that

Most PTV I've heard doesn't have that 'electro-industrial' vibe to it tho if that helps

Cool thanx for the tips DT and DD; I'll have to investigate Gen's rabbit hole a little deeper maybe.

For me Gen's art is not simply his music or any other artistic output per se but just he/r whole existence and journey and how it tears at that fabric of normalcy ... but as I said, a little Gen goes a long way.

I'm curious. Is this the first time they've ever shared the stage to anyone's knowledge?
I believe melvins played sleeps last show the first go around.
Well, we'll always have "In the Air Tonight." Will that be your most enduring song?
You know, that song won't lie down. It just won't go away. I mean, there's a Mike Tyson moment associated with it now. It's just bizarre. I guess it has a bit of mystery, a lot of atmosphere, and the drums coming in, pinning people to the wall.
