John Paul Jones on bass. Josh Homme on lead vocals.

They'll call it Some Crooked Buzzards.

Maybe not so shocking (except to the fans leaning more towards the metal end of the spectrum) since the boys have worked with one and are fanboys of the other, but I'd fucking kill a room full of people for a full-length collab with J.G. Thirlwell or Genesis P-Orridge

Amen on the jg thirlwell collaboration. If it weren't for his "what's in my bag" segment I would have never learned about Secret Chiefs.

Thirlwell? Yes, please. I'll climb over all those dead bodies to get at some of that.

Gen? M'eh ... mad respect for that cat but other than his body morphing adventures (check the doc "The Ballad of Genesis & Lady Jaye") he hasn't done anything interesting in over 25yrs. As for a TG connect I woulda super dug seeing/hearing a collab w/ Sleazy tho ... but that ain't gonna happen

I thought that Endless Not album by TG that came out a few years ago was really good, but come to think of it, outside of that I actually am struggling to think of anything all that good Gen's put out recently.

I'm curious. Is this the first time they've ever shared the stage to anyone's knowledge?

As were Slayer. Sleep, Melvins, Slayer was the order of the evening, I think. Or Melvins, Sleep, Slayer.
